Since you asked…
Here are a collection of home improvement projects that I’ve done. I’m definitely not gifted with construction, so when the rare opportunity comes along where my skills are useful for the task at hand… you can bet I’m snapping some pictures of it!
There’s just something about a soldering iron that gives me a warm feeling inside, pun intended. I can’t help tinkering with LEDs, microcontrollers, and computers. It’s what I’m paid to do, but also what I love to do with my free time.
A particular electronics challenge is under the hood. I like the challenge of tweaking our cars to run a little bit better.
There’s just something about the silver screen, when the lights go down and the projector starts flickering. I make no apology for deriving most of my theology from the movies.
Here are my movie reviews. I use a five star rating scale. Because I can.
Here are reviews of two movies at a time. The goal is to compare their similarities and differences. The reason? I find myself constantly comparing movies and categorizing their likenesses. This section is a place where that thinking can be obsessive.
Here is the latest news, photo, thought, or life update.
Our church choir director calls the phenomenon “tune bondage.” It’s a state of complete captivity to the music in your head. Ever get a song stuck in there? I do. All the time. Here, I catalog the bands I’m listening to, concerts I’m attending, and our choir updates.
I do occasionally read. And some books, too.
This section is a place where I write about religion and God, the spiritual and the supernatural, but most importantly how these relate to the everyday.
