I'm a big Spalding Gray fan myself and have been mourning his loss in a sad quiet way that comes and goes. I find that I've got to read anything about him that looks interesting. (There was a great article in the Village Voice titled "I Killed Spalding Gray" that was written by a close friend of his. You might enjoy it.)
