Take a look at the fonts on his "passport".  Do you see how crisp they look?  If it were scanned, those fonts wouldn't have such nice edges.  Compare those with the other fonts of the passport, where this is some tearing and smudging.  Those are legit.  His name and personal info are not.</description>
