With great power comes great responsibility

I told my friends Sarah and Mark that I once dressed as Spiderman for Halloween. Here’s the proof…

Mom made this full body costume for me when I was a kid. I’m not sure how old I was at the time, maybe 10? (I’ve been informed by Mom that I was 6 years old at the time.)

Spiderman is pretty close to the Invisible Man in that he is completely hidden to the rest of the world. His identity is concealed. I heard this interesting question posed on the radio:

If you could have any of two superpowers, which would it be? Flight or invisibility? Why?

I think I would rather fly. Invisibility would be fraught with too many temptations to abuse the power. Flight would at least be fun and would save on airfare! :)

Definitely invisibility. I would be able to care for my children and keep an eye on them, but I could just go invisible when I wanted some time to myself!!! Of course, I can hear them yelling “MOOooooom! We know you’re around here somewhere!!”

Speaking of superpowers, I can’t wait until X-Men 3! So long to wait…hmm. Rob, those old photos make me laugh! I remember posing in front of that old door so many times! We should scan some of them when we go home for Christmas.

Jules, your comment about your kids made me laugh out loud! I can just hear their little voices!

Can I just say how glad I am to have my internet working again!
