Republican leaders are having a fascist moment right now. It’s ok to have an American flag prominently displayed in your congressional office, altered to include a Nazi swastika (Ohio representative Dave Taylor).
It’s apparently ok to have a blatantly misogynist, rape fantasy, racist, xenophobic group chat. There’s been a lot of opinion lately a out throwing out the “Nazi” label, however deserved. But I’m to my view: stop acting like one and we’ll stop calling you one.
Maybe all this evidence isn’t just a few bad apples. Maybe MAGA is rotten to the core and seems active harm. This isn’t just the past. This is the future of the party.
