ElectroLund changes

Okay, let me give this a try.

Red Rock excursion

Looks like you had a beautiful day! And you saw deer! Now how marvelous is that. And a mini-concert too. God has blessed you so much with your move to Colorado. And they even erected a bronze statue of you before you left Hee Hee! Who is the statue of? I don’t remember that there. Thanks for posting the wonderful pictures!

Last will and testament

This picture reminds me of the Alps, or possibly somewhere in Pakistan. It is beautiful, no matter where it is.

» Posted By Lynda On October 22, 2005 @ 3:46 pm

I read this not sure whether to fall off my chair laughing, especially after my email this morning, or happy to know you listened! 😉 I hope your day was as beautiful as the day is here! Can’t wait for pictures and to hear all about your hike. You picked a great place!

Bird watch

I believe you have a purple finch or a house finch. I am leaning more toward a house finch, not enough raspberry color for the other. You are so fortunate to have them show up so soon! 😆

» Posted By Lynda On October 22, 2005 @ 3:48 pm

..And no it isn’t a robin. I have to get the bird books out to see what might be in your area. Looks too big to be a house finch, but kind of hard to tell from the picture. Have you heard of “tel-e-pho-to” 😆
This is cool!

Snow Day!

I am jealous too! Love snow. Also remember snow – a lot of snow – in Nebraska. But correct not like it used to be. I loved your snowman!!!

Here I raise my Ebenezer!

You would not believe what I saw yesterday! There is a little church on Preston, north of 635, the is called “The Ebenezer Worship Center”. It looks really old. I will have to take a picture of it.

» Posted By Lynda On November 25, 2005 @ 5:23 am

Praise God and bless your little Ebenezer.
God is always with you, even when you feel He isn’t. It is not He who leaves us.

Home brew stir fry!

Onions would be good with that!
I am impressed!!! 😆

Insert Girlfriend Here

I think Jules and Angela are on the right track.
A person has to be able to place God first, be comfortable with themselves before they can even think of becoming a good partner for someone else.
Nothing more lonely than being in a relationship that is not meant to be.
God has you where you are meant to be, at any particular moment. It is up to us to be still long enough to even determine how blessed we are. Just because you may be single now, doesn’t mean that is where you will be in the future.
Consider Phil 1:6

Further march toward suburbia

I was thinking more in lines of “whats-his-name” on Old Yankee Workshop. Ebb won’t be able to make another great escape now! At least without your permission 😛

added apartment pics

Hi Nate! Kettle popper sounds good to me. And I agree about the road trip. Bet it seems funny not having Rob and Ebb around, doesn’t it?
I understand that the projector screen construction is under way. WhooHoo!

» Posted By Lynda On September 17, 2005 @ 1:44 pm

All of the geek stuff is great. I still want to know about the popcorn. Let’s get to the REALLY important stuff! 🙄

» Posted By Lynda On September 17, 2005 @ 7:09 am

Your screen for your movies is super. Where did you find fabric that was wide enough. Do you serve popcorn?? 😆

Decuple Word Reviews

😕 I think it is Lord of War, not Lord on War. So what are your comments about these movies??

Breckenridge trip

My cabin is behind the hill/little mountain in the foreground….I wish! Love that area. You were probably close to Monarch Pass. Tunnel picture is cool!

Einstein on purpose

Funny you should put this in last night. In singles we were discussing what a calling is last night. Your calling is the customized life purpose that God has shaped, fashioned, and equipped for you, in order to expand His kingdom and bring Himself greater glory. A calling is one of the grace gifts God has provided to every believer, no exceptions. For most of us, our calling will come as we search the Word and the Holy Spirit impresses God’s will on our hearts, often accompanied by he confirming evidence of circumstances.

Party in Dallas

You were a busy person last night. How fun to see the pictures from your farewell parties. We do miss you! And nothing wrong with the feminine side, that is what makes you so sweet!! Now say “Ahhhh”!

I came, I saw, I conquered

After talking with you Sunday, I see God’s hand in all of this. We miss you you. I know tonight we will be expecting to see you walk into Cindy and Robert’s for our study. 😉 Happy Sunrise! Lynda

MTSI party

Love the card they made for you! Did the pictures come out okay from the singles bday/going away bash? You are probably unloading the truck and getting your furniture set up in your new home about now. I am sooooo jealous!! (especially after checking the weather forecast for Denver). But I am so excited about this new adventure and opportunity in your life. I know you are going to love living in Colorado. 😆

Colorado pic update!

Can you believe this is packing day. Let’s see, not counting today, 5 days before you head West. Cool! Now don’t forget, the big box, with holes, goes in the truck. No questions, just load it!! 😀

😛 😛 Hi Rob,
Love the pictures! Great to see where you will be. Is that a shopping mall I could see from your patio? Looks like a lot of bright light inside! Wonderful. Ebeneezer is going to love it.

A Revelation

Hi Rob,
I just read your blog. As always I am touched by your writing and sentiments. Watching you progress through this process of decision has been great. Even though it probably wasn’t feeling so great for you during a lot of the time. I am slowly seeing a light in you that I feel has been dim for awhile. God is always walking with us, we just have to slow down and let Him be the guide.
Are you experiencing a Rocky Mountain High today!! 😉
Makes me hum John Denver’s song! la, la, lalalaaaa… Hee Hee. Have a super week!

Welcome Back!

Rob,
Your new site is totally awesome. Well, worth the time and effort you took. Congrats!
As you know, I am so excited about your move to Colorado. (And I am thinking “Road Trip”) I know that God is opening up a grand adventure for you. What better place to be to be constantly aware and reminded how great our God truly is! Stand by those Rockies and you will discover that your problems are small. Oceans and mountain tops have a way of doing that, at least for me. Kind of puts things in perspective. You are going to be truly missed. However, I know in my heart you are doing the right thing. Wishing you the best of luck, a safe trip when you move and wonderful days ahead!
Hugs,
Lynda

Saint Nicholas

Hi Rob,
I looked up your writing of Nicholas. Those kids are really going to miss you. You will have to get involved with AWANAs in Colorado. You have a knack with those young ones!

Stereo light fix

Hi Rob,

You did a really great job, as usual, on fixing my stereo. You don’t realize how cool it is to now be able to select a radio station without having to search until I pass out. Or turn on another radio and then run back and forth from room to room to try to figure out where the song is coming from!

You are my hero….once again.

Thanks a bunch.

P.S. I feel famous with “my” stereo in your blog. HaHa.

Of long goodbyes and short lives

February 18, 2005
11:16
Tears welled up as I read this. I understand how the deeper inner self wants to “protect” you from future hurt. But the sun does shine, you will move through this and you have learned much.

Try having God be the One who always fills your heart. He will never hurt you. Then when your earthly relationships form, dissolve or whatever course they take, you will not feel quite as much heartache and lonliness.

God created us first for a relationship with Him, secondly for others. There is a reason for this. We sometimes forget the order, but in His divine wisdom He protects us if only we could just follow Him.

Just remember Psalm 23 …when we walk “through” the valley… we don’t get stuck there, we go through it.

You are special and loved by many.
