cell phone plan switcheroo, part 2
I was referring to being able to call/text/MMS other T-Mobile users without eating into your allocation, but that’s probably deprecated. You have got me thinking, and if I can come with a good voice-calls option I’ll probably go with this $30 unlimited-data prepaid plan: http://goo.gl/v9Nm8

There’s a Denver Broncos game going on RIGHT now, and you’re blogging, life-hacking, and doing math?? Nerd! But seriously, some good info here, especially for iPhone users. Does T-Mobile still have any in-network perks for calls, MMS, etc or its that largely obsolete?

Wow- that’s a really neat project! I hope Chef Iris thanked her Daddy! (unless we’re giving credit for this one to the IKEA elves…) She does look happy in the last picture!

Actually that is very interesting! Of course, it doesn’t hurt that you have a love-affair with anything Apple makes…

I have OCD… not the one you’re thinking
Wow, great pictures! It’s clear to me that “IMG_1682.JPG” was pre-Percoset and “Rob’s too chipper” was after… It’s a good thing they proved that they actually removed something from your knee, since the diagnosis of OCD “requires a high index of suspicion.” But seriously, get better soon- I need to get back to beating you at raqcuetball…

The relevance of my messages comes from when I was selling my old car (with Rob’s awesome help). I came home from work and discovered my voice mail was FULL due to numerous messages from the Colorado Springs area code! These all consisted of Rob and Sarah taking turns doing voices and making up names for themselves… So a few days ago when I learned the good news of their sold house, I knew I had to act. With a long drive ahead of me I decided to call them with a multi-message retort. Please keep the following in mind:
1) I had no idea that my evil brother-in-law would actually POST these messages!
2) They were all intended to be jokes: I was attempting to convey a white boy’s humorous unfamiliarity with other cultures (not knowing many spanish words, etc.) Thus, the joke was about stereotypes, not using them.
3) These are all the intellectual property of BakerCorp, Inc. and are subject to copyright laws. And yes, I messed up on at least half of them…» Posted By Mark On July 2, 2008 @ 3:35 pm
Such support for the move! When I looked out the window and saw a moving truck, I thought “wow, Rob is really strong-arming this” but then it drove off. Regardless, I think Colorado Springs is a great place and it may eventually be where I move. Right now I have things here that must run their course before the timing would be right. I’ll keep you updated!

Well-said start to finish, Rob!
Bond: “Vodka martini.”
Waiter: “Shaken or stirred?”
Bond: “Do I look like I give a damn?”I liked most of the Bond films but I think Ian Fleming would definitely agree that this one is much truer to his books- the sources of it all. In stories of any medium I’ve always been most interested in the journey and struggle of a hero, not the inevitable destination. Bond’s vulnerability in this flick was part of what made it so compellingly fantastic for me. With that said, I do agree that the departure from the mold, the gritty realism and jaggedness of James Bond are precisely what will kill the sequal- or at least the relative quality of it. Nevertheless I will still be pulling for it and will probably see it. From Royale with love…

Ridiculous, CS? I’d like to draw your attention to the RED-YELLOW FADE on my shoes! Alas, now they will be playing (rainbow) basketball in heaven… *sniff*

Ooo, I think I won! I have so many people to thank; my family for supporting me while not knowing that I will get them back, God, my agent, And1 for designing shoes that never (and I mean NEVER wear out, and everyone else who believed I could win this award… Keep in mind though, that the descriptions were a little biased. Despotic? That’s putting it mildly- Rob’s shoes snapped to attention and then invaded a neighboring closet… Hageln die nazischuhe!

Throwback, baby! Rob’s “Old Skool”… Like those old alarm clocks that would burn out just one or two segments and spell out commands to attack your sister! I hear and I obey, oh glowing one…

Can we post a poll regarding the footwear you and I wear in those pictures? People can vote on whose is more horrible! I know Sarah will have a hard time choosing!

Ha! I loved this post, not least because my ‘lectric Oral-B toothbrush has the same connector AND I wondered the same exact thing when I got it! I just figured it was a sign from God that oral hygiene is important enough to warrant Him charging my toothbrush while I slept.

sweeeeet…. Although when I clicked on the picture of your widescreen monitor, my non-widescreen Dell monitor actually began to sob…
Side note: As I type a comment someone types the exact same thing at the bottom of the webpage! Testing: MIZNEROTIC! spooky…

I like the new look, Rob! light-colored and space-age-y… like an ipod!

Keep in mind that the hero’s final step in their journey more often than not is to confront and defeat the evil that is in themselves. Whether physically or symbolically Rob (by proxy of his theme) had to engage and destroy the shell of his “dark side” self. In this way the phoenix is reborn and rises from the ashes of its old self. Much like a server recycling old storage and bandwidth. *bows to Rob* That will teach you to hand things off to me…

Look’s like you got some good swag, Rob! Maybe next year the booty will be more evenly dispersed across several days!
Would my sister buy me underwear? I think she would be more concerned that I’d wear outerwear that is decrepit and worn out!
