Buon giorno, Principessa!

Can’t wait to have you back! You should post some photos before you leave tomorrow morning. The SD card fits right into the slot in the laptop. I’m DYING to see pictures (oh, and to see what you bring back)!

Theme change

Nice new look, sweetie! I know you’re all into the orange right now.

Theater seats!

Ha! I love that photo!

new office furniture

Heh heh… Bruce, Rob is such a fan of his Mac that we can’t move it to my place until 2 days before the wedding! 🙂

Shed project, part 3

Oh, the pain! The 95-degree heat! I feel it all over again when I look at these photos.

Most Hideous Shoe Award

Hmmm, come to think of it, when both of their birthdays roll around in August, I’m totally giving them Shoe Carnival gift cards!

I would like to interject here that Marky’s shoes are just as old, only they have visible holes in the top. I’m just saying…

Shed project, Part 1

Wow, that’s amazing, dear. But, one thing- did you say that Little Baghdad was… spacious?

A brush with certain death

Aw, in the last photo, little Ebby looks like he’s recovered from the traumatizing experience. In August it will be six-foot fences to keep those mean nasty coyotes away from him.

Diamond mining – UDPATE

That’s an amazing program you’ve got there, Mr. Lund. I love the animated one especially. We should set it up so that my 4th grade girls can stare at it all day… apparently they like “sparkly”.

Sarob

Aw, dear, your post made my cry! We were sickeningly flirtatious bloggers, weren’t we? I love you!

Just call me Eric Liddell

He he he… Lynda, I was just pondering skipping my daily run, but saw your post. So yes, we’re still doing our daily running and yes, I’m walking out the door right now to do my easy run.

Neo change holder

When in the world did you have time to do this? Very, very cool, dear.

New directions

Thanks, Rob! 🙂 I wouldn’t actually call myself a GREAT banjo player, but I try to plunk along. I found your site through Sexless… I’m glad I discovered it!

I love your front page picture of the DIA tunnel. Being a fellow CO dweller, I have a definite soft spot for the airport- great architecture and design makes it a fun place to go!

Nice looking site, by the way.

eyeTV 500 & NCAA

YEAH, Rob, aren’t you eager to post? We’re all waiting eagerly…

birthday bash!

Thanks, Carl, Mary, and Jules! I’ve always wanted to be a little older than I am, for some reason, so birthdays are good for that. My mom did make the cake (check my blog for a post on the actual cake), and it’s a longtime favorite of mine.

I decided that I MUST acquire heart-shaped cake pans sometime in the future. The heart-shaped cakes always fill me with warm feelings at my parents’ house!

like cats and dogs: a taxonomy

Royal wanted me to tell everyone that he’s flattered to be mentioned on this much-read blog. He also wanted to say thanks to those who commented on his striking good looks.

» Posted By Sarah On February 15, 2006 @ 9:06 am

Nice word usage, I meant to add! You are an excellent student, Rob.

» Posted By Sarah On February 14, 2006 @ 12:19 pm

Carl, you’d like my cat Cleo then. She’s rather dog-like, defying many cat characteristics from the above list. In fact, it’s quite annoying because she constantly wants to be petted and held, in addition to the dog! 🙂

Oooh, one more little tidbit… I saw a photo of a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix this weekend, and I’m convinced that Royal is that precise blend also.

I miss Royal!

» Posted By Sarah On February 13, 2006 @ 8:54 pm

My, doesn’t Royal look well-groomed? Someone must be brushing him regularly!

vain numbers

Oh man, you combine the thrill of getting comments on your blog with an equally competitive nature in your commenters; you have a winning combination, Rob!  Good tactic to get us all commenting!

» Posted By Sarah On February 10, 2006 @ 10:45 am

Well, Jules, considering that I’ve only been around since September, it’s a little funny that I’m so high up on the list!
Carl, I’m going to take your #1 spot if you’re not careful!

Photo gallery update

Thanks Carl and Kim! 🙂 I am turning red now.

aesthetics overhaul

I noticed that our gravitars are very small due to the new look. Do you think this is symbolic of your trying to downplay individual egos and quirks on your blog? Sort of a “We’re all different, but when you blur your eyes, we’re all the same” theme?

He he he… just kidding. I think I have too much time on my hands today.

» Posted By Sarah On February 3, 2006 @ 9:57 am

Looks mighty groovy! My eyes need to get used to it, though. They’re used to the darks instead of lights.

thoughts on Brokeback

I know a few people who avoided seeing Passion of the Christ, not because it wasn’t relevant or that they opposed the message (they are Christians), but because they had read the reviews about the film’s graphic violence. I think many people who avoid Brokeback do so also because these sensitive souls want to avoid the potentially disturbing images in the film (and many other movies, when it comes down to it).

hurdy gurdy

I find it fascinating that the crank operates the round, circular bow, which produces noise against the strings. An ingenious contraption- so how do I get one? Do you think that people get rid of their old hurdy gurdies on eBay?

Squirrel marauder

Aw, I love squirrels! Don’t you just want one for a pet? 🙂
